Criminals are now using Peoples Cards to register Sim Cards and using them for their criminal Activities. This article is simply representing the information issued by the Government of Ghana.

Steps to Check If Your Sim Card is Linked to Your Ghana Card
- Dial *402*1# on your mobile phone.
- Select option 1 for “Check if your Ghana Card is linked to your SIM”.
- Enter your 13-digit Ghana Card number.
- Follow the instructions to complete the process.
You will receive a confirmation message indicating whether your Ghana Card is linked to your SIM. If your Ghana Card is not linked to your SIM, you must visit a mobile network operator’s customer service centre to complete the registration process.
